I am an experienced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, practicing at Credit Valley Hospital Mississauga,a modern 400 bed hospital. I have spent twelve years training as both a General Surgeon and a Plastic Surgeon, in Ireland, the UK and Canada. I have Fellowship Degrees in both specialties from the College of Surgeons in Ireland and Canada respectively. I am thus fully certified to practice as a Plastic Surgeon in Canada and have been practicing as a Consultant Surgeon at Credit Valley Hospital since 1994.

Originally Irish, I am personable and very much at ease meeting with patients. I have two teenage daughters who keep me busy outside work and up to date on the modern world. I have many outdoor interests including mountain biking, skiing, and kayaking.

Professionally, I have special interests and experience in specific areas of both Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. In the area of Cosmetic surgery, I focus on and perform a large volume of surgery of the breast and abdomen, all liposuction. I confine my expertise to these areas with which I am very familiar. I am increasingly operating on patients following major weight loss procedures.In this area I perform lower body and buttock lifts,as well as thigh lifts and belt lipectomies.In the head and neck area,I perfrom neck lifts and set back ear surgery for prominent ears.

Within the realm of Reconstructive Surgery I specialize in breast reconstruction after mastectomy for breast cancer patients, surgical management of patients with advanced mailgnant melanoma and microsurgical reconstruction following severe limb injuries and for cancer reconstruction.
